This is a semi-finished DIY leather bag kit for making a Hac a dos-inspired bag, which includes precut leather bag patterns, shaping materials, kraft patterns, bag hardware, and special punch tools.  

DIY Leather Bag Kit Specification

• Precut leather  The thickness of each piece of leather is pretreated. They are made from full-grain cowhide leather, Togo pattern leather as exterior material, and goat leather as interior material.

• Shaping material Precut bag-making supportive material includes but is not limited to bonded leather, fiber leather, PVC chord, etc.

• Kraft paper bag pattern Laser cut from 800-gram American hard kraft paper, which is around 1mm. The pattern is used for orientation and punch holes on precut leather. There are stitching holes and bag hardware orientation marked on the pattern.
• Hardware Highly polished stainless steel hardware.
• Thread white linen thread (If you prefer other thread colors, please check with us the availability before ordering)
• Special punch tools Oval-shaped punch tool, square-shaped punch tool

If you have no basic tools and cutting mat as shown in the basic tool kit as a beginner in leather craft, then a basic tool kit is a recommendation. These basic tools can be used for making any DIY leather bag kit in the store.

Pricking iron space 

This is the inside seam bag. So we recommend 2 types of the pricking iron.

• A set of 3.0mm French-style pricking irons for punching stitching holes as marked on the kraft pattern (1 tooth and 9 teeth of the 3.0mm pricking iron are recommended). 
• A set of 3.38mm round hole pricking irons for the piping area which is sewn inside (2 teeth and 10 teeth of the 3.38mm pricking iron are recommended).

Leather Work Involves 

Holes punching, paste, hand-stitching, and leather edge coating.
